Next in line my arse!!!

Seriously wanted to shake the Target worker lady and the two stupid people who were behind me! There are like 5 million people standing in line to check out and I was patiently waiting my turn, when the Target lady in the next aisle looked right at me and said, "Next in line!" (Which was me...I was next in line!) Well, before I could even take a step over in that direction the two people who were standing directly BEHIND me rushed over to put their items on the conveyor belt! What the???? Ex squeeze me...did she not say NEXT in line? And what did the Target worker lady do? She started checking the lady out! Not only was I disgusted by the two people who cutted me but I was so stinkin' irritated that the Target worker lady wouldn't call them out on their rudeness. She knew I was next...she made direct eye contact with me! She should have said, "I'm sorry, but she(ME) is next in line, not you." So you know what I did? Nothing! Except prolly made myself look like a complete idiot because I was huffing and puffing with my mean look on my face rolling my eyes because to top it all off the one person and her husband couldn't decide if they wanted to pay 99 cents each for their dumb mexican bananas they had in a bag. Come on!!! Really people are you the only two people who exist in this world. Take 'em or leave 'em I don't care but do something cutter because I got places to be. The other cutter wasn't quite as an annoying. She had like two or three things she was buying, paid cash, and got out of there. Yay...finally my turn! I wanted to be really mean to her and tell her off...but I didn't! But she could sense my irritation I was giving her my vibes...be scared Target worker lady cuz if you diss me again...I will say something next time! Next in line my arse!!!

Aww Crap...Literally! (prepare to be grossed out)

Soooo, this will be brief because it's kinda gross...but i am enthralled to tell just because, well because it happened and there is always some kind of crap(literally) to make life oh so fun! Right? I am walking in my front yard to go around back and throw the trash away...as I walk by my kitchen window and look into the planter I had to do a double take...What the...? is that toilet paper?...Oh-m-gee is that poop? My boys were with me and they confirmed that yes indeed that is what it was!!! My toilet was disposing all of its waste right into my front yard!

Okay, I am laughing right now because this is my first photo upload on my blog and it's a picture of poop...that just says so much...doesn't it...LOL! Any how, thank God I have a husband who was able to fix this right away...I'm sure a plumber would have cost a fortune! Thanks honey, for not adding to the crap in my life...and instead removing it! ;)

The Flaker or The Faker?

So this week is my kids first official week out of school and my worker girl who helps me with my calls and STUFF...is vacationing in Mexico, prolly drinking fruity drinks, basking in the sun! Meanwhile, I am getting by just fine, until today! One of my other employees decides to not show up for work! Are you kidding me??? NO! Little background here...her van that she normally uses was in the shop yesterday getting some work done, so I specifically told her that if for some reason the van is not done by the end of the day I would let her know and just have her go along with one of the other girls to get some extra training in. Well, the van ended up being ready, so I didn't have to reschedule any of her appts. Thank God! Her schedule was still posted, no changes, totally accessible for her to see. Here is where the drama begins. Her 1st appt is scheduled for 10am she usually gets to my house 1/2 hr. early to get the van, it's 9:45 am and she isn't here. So I text her wondering where she is and she responds back via text, "R u serious? I'm not at home ;( i'm in Torrance taking care of my nephew. U didn't call me or text me yesterday so I thought I wasn't working".  (BLAH, BLAH, BLAH) Needless to say I was infuriated. We went back and forth  texting and finally I had to call her because she was actually trying to tell me that it was my fault. Exsqueeze me? No, I was very clear that even if you didn't get your stupid van back that you would be riding along with 1 of the other girls. So if you hadn't heard from me and were not sure what was going on wouldn't you 1) call me to find out or 2) check your schedule to see if you still had appts....that's what a responsible person would have done...right? So to make a long story short, here's the jist of it. I basically told her that she needs to come in and she basically told me, "I'm sorry I can't, there is no one to watch my nephew". I said, "why don't you have your boyfriend (her UNEMPLOYED boyfriend) watch him". "Oh he's not here.", again...BLAH, BLAH, BLAH, and then she texted me sorry for the miscommunication. Miscommunication??? There was NO communication, you failed to communicate (which is why you were a NO SHOW to work) Soooooo, you wanna know what I did, after rescheduling all her appts.? I hired someone else, for a part-time position!!!! That's right! I have put up with flakers and fakers and I'm not gonna chance it no more. Always good to have a back-up plan and I just got me one.(side note: we interviewed this person over the weekend and really liked her. We just wanted to take sometime to think about it. And after today's incident it was obvious to me and my hubby that we need a back-up.) Hopefully, she will learn from her stupidity and get her act together...only time will tell! But, I won't put up with too much more. There have been a few other incidents with her not coming in for one reson or another and I just don't have the time or the patience to deal with the nonsense! Ok, I'm done venting...thanx for listening or I guess I should say reading ;)

Car Wash Blues or Not

This is the 3rd consecutive time I have had my car washed and it has rained/drizzled that night or next day. What's up with that? At $18 bucks a wash I think...Not cool! On a good note though, as I was waiting for my car at the car wash, the little worker guy there came up and handed me $10. I was confused at first and then he said, "I found it under your seat." WHAT???!!! OMG people can you believe there is actually still some decent, trustworthy people in this world. I was stoked, not only did I have an extra $10 bucks in my pocket but my faith in humanity was restored. Although, I'm sure the feeling will be short lived because more than likely I will come across some idiot who will do something to tick me off...but for now...I'll embrace this little bit of goodness from the car wash guy. So, technically, rather than wasting $18 bucks on this particular car wash to then have it get rained on, I only wasted $8 bucks. My glass is half full not half empty. I'm turning a negative into a positive. Wow, this blog is already helping me! ;) Has anyone ever showed you an act of kindness that made you feel good?
